After a three week hiatus, the stars of Flat Track Canada will be back in action on Saturday when the series invades Georgian Downs. Located just south of Barrie, the large oval will produce some of the highest speeds in the series, and fans can expect to see riders three and four wide in the corners as they search for traction on their way to their chunk of the prize money.
With an incredibly tight points battle going on in the Expert class between Tyler Seguin and Dustin Brown, watch for these riders to get their elbows wide as they try to poke a hole in traffic as they race towards first place points. Standings in the Novice division are equally tight, as Seth Little and Nathan Peacock battle to see their names on top of the standings once the racing has concluded. As the four riders mentioned above try to be the first to the checkers, watch for many other talented riders to try to play spoiler on the night as each class could come down to a last lap showdown come main event time.
Along with action in the Expert and Novice ranks, a full slate of other classes is also on the schedule including Intermediate, VET, vintage, ATV’s and kid’s classes. As an added bonus on Saturday, fans will be treated to an exciting Harley Davidson stunt show put on by the Highway Heathens.
Saturday will see heat race action begin at 3:00 with main events scheduled to begin at 7:00.
